About

I am a Catholic, pro-life journalist, freelance blogger and contract news writer whose work strives to share valuable information with the public through honest, compassionate storytelling filled with integrity. Ever since taking my first news journalism class as a freshman at the University of Mary Washington, I have loved the field of journalism — from the investigative research and honesty to the in-depth interviews and the pride of seeing my work published at the end of the process.

After breaking into the field as a student journalist covering campus and community news in Fredericksburg, Virginia, I worked for a year and a half with a Catholic, pro-life news outlet. I ventured on my own after this job and became an independent contractor, writing for multiple private publishers to produce conservative news content while keeping up my niche in the pro-life world. Additionally, I contribute to digital publications in the subject of holistic health, wellness and lifestyle, which can be found on Medium. And don’t forget to check out my portfolio for extensive samples of my work.

In addition to my professional background in writing, I am also a trained musician with more than a decade of combined experience playing Bb clarinet and piano. I have a bachelor’s degree in music and experience as a private music teacher for elementary and middle school musicians musicians.

As a practicing Catholic, I have served on student leadership teams within Catholic campus ministry, enjoy contributing to faith-based blogs in my free time and have a passion for helping young people (especially women and girls) learn more about their faith and how to fully embrace it in their daily lives.
